Is there parking available for recreational vehicles (RVs)?

No.

What are the Motorcycle Gear Requirements?

Riders will be expected to follow all South Carolina motorcycle laws. Helmets, eye protection, long-sleeved shirt / jacket, long-legged pants and full-fingered gloves are required.

Which gate do I use to enter MCAS Beaufort?

Guests will enter MCAS Beaufort through 1 of 3 gates. VIP invited guests, VIP parking pass holders, military and DoD authorized vehicles, and vehicles using handicap parking will enter MCAS Beaufort using the Main Gate. All other guests and vehicles will enter MCAS Beaufort using Gate 3 or Gate 5. Gates 3 and 5 are located on US-21/Trask Pkwy. Vehicles traveling Southbound on US-21/Trask Pkwy should stay in the left lane to turn left into the Gates. Traffic signs and law enforcement personnel will be directing traffic to their appropriate gate.

Where can I park?

Upon entering MCAS Beaufort, security personnel will direct you to the general, VIP or handicap parking areas. Parking is FREE and will be available on a first come, first served basis. Additional parking will be available on Shanklin Rd. off US-21/Trask Pkwy. Shuttles from Shanklin Rd. to MCAS Beaufort will not be provided. Parking on US-21/Trask Pkwy will not be allowed during the MCAS Beaufort Air Show. For more information about parking, CLICK HERE.

Can I get a map of the MCAS Beaufort Airshow and/or parking area?

A map of the event will be available on our website and event app prior to the event.

Can I tailgate in the parking lot?

No.

Personal Items Do's and Dont's

Can I bring my backpack or purse?

Yes, backpacks, purses, fanny packs, baby bags, camera bags and other bags are permitted. Before entering the MCAS Beaufort Air Show, ALL bags will be quickly inspected and all individuals are subject to search.

Can I bring beer, sodas, and food to the Airshow?

No outside food and drinks (including alcohol) are permitted at the MCAS Beaufort Air Show. Ice chests and coolers are also prohibited and subject to confiscation. Only coolers containing medicinal items or infant formula will be allowed. There will be food and drinks available for sale at concession stands located throughout the spectator area.

Should I bring hearing protection?

Yes, hearing protection is highly encouraged for all MCAS Beaufort Airshow spectators, especially for young children.

Will pets be allowed to enter the MCAS Beaufort Airshow?

Only service animals will be permitted.

Are empty camel backs or water packs allowed in the venue?

Yes.

Attending the Beaufort Airshow

What are the dates?

The MCAS Beaufort Airshow will be held on Saturday, April 12 and Sunday, April 13, 2025.

Where will the Airshow be held?

The MCAS Beaufort Airshow will be held aboard MCAS Beaufort in Beaufort, SC. You can find directions HERE.

How much is admission?

General Admission and parking are FREE and tickets are REQUIRED. General Admission is located in paved and grassy areas where attendees can stand or sit on their own blankets or lawn chairs. Premium seating providing the best view of the MCAS Beaufort Airshow will be available for purchase.

What time does the Airshow start / end?

The show will start around 11:00am and end at 4:30pm.

When do the gates open?

8:30 a.m.

What activites are prohibited during the event?

Tailgating, smoking near aircrafts or flightline, and overnight camping.

I am attending with a large group. What do I need to do?

Just show up and enjoy! General Admission is free, however, tickets are REQUIRED. You do not need to notify or make special arrangements for your group. Bus and large van parking will be available.

Are airshows safe?

Airshows offer a consistently and historically safe environment for millions of spectators each year. Since current rules were implemented nearly 50 years ago, there has not been a single spectator fatality at a North American show – an enviable safety record for any business.

What if it rains?

The MCAS Beaufort Airshow will go on rain or shine so be prepared to dress for the weather. Performers will be grounded if there is lightening within 5 miles but we will do everything we can to continue once it is safe to do so. Tickets for premium seating will be refunded if the event is canceled prior to gates opening. There are no rain dates for this event.

Are credit cards accepted to purchase premium seating the day of the show?

Depending if tickets for premium seating are sold out, premium seating tickets may or may not be available for purchase at the venue.

How do I get Press or Media Credentials?

The MCAS Beaufort Public Affairs Office, now COMMSTRAT will be accepting media reservations to attend the MCAS Beaufort Air Show. You can find their contact information HERE.

Will strollers or wheelchairs be available for rental?

No, strollers and wheelchairs will not be available to rent. However, strollers and wheelchairs are permitted.

Will there be an ATM on-site?

No.

I am or will be attending with a person with disabilites.
What accomodations will be available?

We will have handicap accessible parking and restrooms. Security personnel will direct those vehicles with official handicap identification on their vehicles to appropriate parking areas aboard the Air Station. There will limited be staff available with golf carts to assist person(s) with disabilities from the parking areas to the flightline. Handicap accessible restrooms and hand-washing stations will be available that are designed to allow those with disabilities easy access. General Admission is located in paved and grassy areas that are handicap accessible. All of our premium seating is at ground level with no stairs. The chairs in all three premium seating options are easily removable to accommodate wheelchairs and allow persons with disabilities to easily sit with friends and family.
